Manufacturing History
Our journey in producing specialized rollers began with a commitment to innovation and quality, driven by the need to address extreme operating conditions in various industries. Here's a detailed overview of our manufacturing history:
Early Beginnings
In 2005, we embarked on the ambitious project of developing rollers capable of enduring the harshest environments. Our goal was to create a product that not only met but exceeded industry standards for durability and performance. The foundation of our manufacturing process was laid with the acquisition of a „Patent” for a conveyor-roller type that had already proven its reliability in South African mines.
Transition to EU-ROLLER Brand
Recognizing the potential of these rollers, we introduced them under the name of EU-ROLLER HDPE-conveyor rollers. This marked a significant step towards becoming key suppliers for the mining sector, waste processing facilities, power plants, and other industries that operate in open-pit or dusty conditions
Development Projects and Product Range Expansion
Initial Challenges
The original products, manufactured in South Africa from the year 1982 to meet local and American mining industry and European market demands, did conform to all types of standards in the world market. The product range initially consisted of all sizes to suit customer requirement.
Acquired Roller Types
- 127 mm Dia. with 25mm dia. shaft
- 152 mm Dia. with 30mm dia. shaft
- Length of rollers: 180 – 1612 mm
DIN Standardization
In response to market needs, we developed DIN equivalents for these rollers with 133 mm and 159 mm diameters. This adaptation allowed us to cater to European markets, expanding our reach and capabilities.
Market Expansion
Our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation has led to increased production capacity and a broader product range. We now export our conveyor-rollers to Australia, USA, Indonesia, Chile, and China, while the DIN series primarily serves in Europe.
Innovative Developments
Impact Rollers
Among our innovations is a new impact roller. This product has quickly gained popularity in the American and Australian markets, showcasing our ability to adapt to different regional requirements.
Strategic Goals
- Economical Production: Implementing cost-effective manufacturing technologies for larger production runs and automating key phases of the process.
- Product Range Expansion: Continuously expanding our product offerings to meet evolving market demands.
- Custom Developments: Developing and introducing new custom roller types.
- Complete Conveyor Systems: Manufacturing and distributing comprehensive conveyor systems in addition to individual rollers.
New Product Lines
The 2010 R&D project led to the development of several new roller types, resulting in additional patents. Notable among these is the EU-Roller 194/40, developed to meet the needs of Western European power plants and the mining industry for larger diameter and higher load-bearing rollers with HDPE-Tubing to lessen the noise pollution.
Future Innovations
We are also set to introduce special versions for all basic sizes, including:
- AX: For high side loads
- AS: With both side protection
- ARB: One-directional rollers
- FRAS: Antistatic and flame-retardant versions
Commitment to Excellence
Our dedication to research and development, combined with a robust manufacturing process, ensures that our conveyor-rollers are of the highest quality. We continue to innovate and refine our products, maintaining our position as leaders in the world of conveyor- roller manufacturing industry.
